Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide, or NAD+ is a vital molecule which is found in every single cell in the body. It is involved in various cellular processes and is essential for energy metabolism, DNA repair and cellular function. It acts as both an electron transporter and a substrate for enzymes involved in cellular function.

As we age, NAD+ levels naturally decline, by age 40 they have declined by 50%. Declining NAD+ levels are linked to various age related health conditions as well as the overall ageing process. By boosting NAD+ levels, cells can potentially be rejuvenated and age related conditions can be arrested and even reversed. NAD+ supplementation can replenish dwindling NAD+ levels and offer benefits such as:

Guidelines for Administration:

The NAD+ is to be administered intramuscularly into the Deltoid or Gluteus Medius muscle.  For intravenous use, you will need to refer to your trainer/training manual for the correct dosage and protocol.

This NAD+ product is intended to be administered in the following way for intramuscular use:

• Week 1 - one injection of 50mg (1ml)
• Week 2 - one injection of 50mg (1ml)
• Week 3 -  one injection of 50mg (1ml)
• Week 4 - one injection of 100mg (2ml)

Note: Only increase the dose at week four if your client has tolerated the lower dose well. 

  Maintenance - can either be 100mg weekly, fortnightly or monthly, titrate to the individual client and their wellness goals. 

Do not administer more than the recommended dose

Precautions:

• Do not use with other vitamin injections in the same appointment as there may be interactions. Currently, there hasn't been enough research to determine whether this is safe practice or not. 
• Observe your client for 15 mins post injection.
• Do not administer more than the, above recommend dose above. 
• NAD+ is water soluble and is not stored in the body. However, if too much NAD+ is administered it can lead to side effects including headache, nausea and dizziness.

The absorption rate for an NAD+ by intramuscular injection is 85-95%. The body will excrete any excess  amount through the urinary system and integumentary system.
