NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) and glutathion work together as powerful antioxidants; NAC (N-acetylcysteine) acts as a precursor to glutathione by providing cysteine, which the body uses to synthesise glutathione. Both substances help protect cells from oxidative stress and free radical damage, and NAC can also directly scavenge free radicals which can strengthen immunity and combat premature aging of cells. This synergistic relationship makes NAC a common supplement choice for replenishing glutathione levels, particularly in situations of cysteine/glutathione deficiency or to combat increased oxidative stress.

NAC has been found to help increase sexual performance in men. Studies have also shown promising results that regular injections of NAC can improve semen quality and ED in men and improve fertility in women with PCOS ovaries (polycystic ovarian syndrome) by improving ovulation, fertility and hormone profiles.
